Coronavirus arrives in NYC – Will Manhattanites Change Behavior?

Several news outlets, including the NY Times reported today that Coronavirus has arrived in NYC. Of course, it’s probably been here for a while, under the radar.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)

The reaction of residents and commuters will be interesting given that no one knows the size of the Coronavirus “iceberg.” The virus tends to stay under the radar while it is spreading making containment, difficult and transmission easy.

Pandemic or no big deal?

Manhattanites and those in all large cities where the virus has made its appearance will be glued to their screens tomorrow and all this week, not due to the Democratic primaries but because they are caught up in what one might call pandemic pandemonium.
